Flamey and Sandy's RP Palace

The five cats followed silently behind Lunarpaw, glancing around every now and then as if expecting something to jump out and ambush them.

After padding for sometime Lunarpaw stopped outside of Dewclan's borders like she was waiting for something to happen. Redfur noticed that she was starting to shiver whatever she was looking at.  Just than there came a gentle meow coming from nearby. Luckily it was just Leafstorm  but her captures were nowhere to be seen. "Leafstorm it is so great to see you again" Meowed Sandstar. Emberfang wonder if this was some sort of trick and kept a close eye on Leafstorm who did not meow a word just simply smiled at the cats.

"Are you mute, now Leafstorm?" Emberfang snapped, lashing her tail. Everyone turned to Emberfang, shocked. "Calm down, Emberfang," Poppytail meowed, "I'm sure Leafstorm is just a bit shocked." "Then why is she smiling? I don't think a cat in shock would be smiling," Emberfang retorted. Leafstorm sighed and shook her head in annoyance.

"I am just speechless to get out of that weird position those cats had me in and happy to be freed from them." Explains Leafstorm finally meowing something and decides to pad next to Redfur giving him a brief nudge in reassurance that everything was mostly back to normal. "How dare Emberfang be so rude and question Leafstorm after what Starclan knows what!" Hissed Lunarpaw lashing her tail like Emberfang.

Emberfang raised her head and locked her gaze with Lunarpaw. She turned to Sandstar. "You can't seriously believe that Leafstorm wouldn't be more shaken? She doesn't seem like herself, which is saying a lot," she whispered out of ear shot.

"The experience must have made her grow more brave in enduring hardship." Answered Sandstar and than quietly meowed to herself " I Can not believe I am saying this but that is wonderful and sort of thank the cats for this to happen. Makes Leafstorm more able to be a less frightened med cat than she was before, not that she had such a bad weakness before all this happened." Lunarpaw tilted her head looking over at Emberfang and looked as if she was trying to say something to her but couldn't seem to find the words to meow out. Lunarpaw relizing she could not meow slashed out words in dirt spelling out this "This is not the same Leafstorm but somehow it is her! Could one of the spirits possesses Leafstorm or is she really alright?" Than she covered up what she wrote and tried not to look suspicious to the other cats nearby. Redfur raised his eye brows wondering what Lunarpaw was doing and guessed she was just bored of waiting to go back home with Leafstorm finally, being the impatient cat she was.

Emberfang padded up to Leafstorm, eyeing her up and down. "Alright, 'Leafstorm' you seem to be alright. Of course your Clanmates will be taking extra precautions to make sure you really are okay, I'm sure," she meowed, turning to Sandstar and Hawkwing for approval.

Hawkwing and Sandstar looked at each other not sure why Emberfang was being very suspicion of Leafstorm and shook their heads saying nothing."Leafstorm is alright considering there is not a single shadow cat around or near here and plus do you see her badly hurt anywhere?!" Redfur meowed challenging Emberfang and gave Leafstorm a slight nudge. Lunarpaw was the only one who agreed with the Fireclan deputy for once and nodded rapidly in agreement even if the others of her clan would not take extra care with Leafstorm.    "Ya she looks fine why is every cat not satisfied with this?" Lunarpaw lied. Looking at Emberfang shaking her head and wished the others could hurry up and go home already. Just staying in the same spooky spot was about to make her go mad.

Emberfang noticed Lunarpaw shaking her head out of the corner of her eye. She took note of this, hoping that she agreed with her. "We best be heading back to--" Emberfang stopped, realizing that they had completely forgotten about Willowstar. "Did any other you see Willowstar?" she asked urgently.

"Willowstar was right next to me" Answered Poppytail noticing Willowstar wasn't near her anymore and began to worry.  "Did she decide to go back to camp by herself maybe?"  Leafstorm guessed looking from side to side for Willowstar and could only pick up a faint trace of Willowstar in the direction of Fireclan but there was another scent mixed in that was strange. Perhaps it was just animal that crossed her path on the way back to camp? She could have sworn the scent could also have been a Kittypet. Leafstorm amused her mind was just playing tricks on her after all that had happened.

Emberfang flattened her ears. "Oh StarClan! The shadow cats must have gotten her! It's not like her to abandon other cats and head her own way."

"Shouldn't the shadow cats be gone...?" Redfur mumbled underneath his breath recalling the battle with the leader of darkness. "Guess they were not satisfied enough with being mouse brain towards Leafstorm!" Growled Sandstar and Hawkwing together trying to pick out Willowstar's scent. It was strange because she nor Hawkwing couldn't scent anything relating to Willowstar but Leafstorm could even though it was a faint trail. "Where should we start to look?" Asked Poppytail.

"We could split up into groups of two," Emberfang suggested, "and search for her in different parts of StarClan. We'll regroup back here if we can't find her. But we could be ambushed by lots of shadow cats, and it might be safer to go as a group."

Sandstar and Hawkwing nodded their heads in approval of the plan to go as a group than to split up. "Lets all go together and hope that the shadow cats will not attack or have not taken Willowstar hostage." Meowed Redfur and Leafstorm together also in agreement. They were very concerned for Willowstar wondering if and when they found her will another cat disappear to be found again? Could the next cat to be taken  be lost forever, gone from  the world not even resting in peace in Starclan?

The cats set off back east, glancing around for any signs of Willowstar. Emberfang frantically sniffed the air, hoping that her sister was okay. 'If any of those shadow cats took her, I'll them!' she thinks furiously.

"Rip them to shreds?" Guessed Hawkwing. Feeling the same way if anything like that ever happened to Sandstar or any of his clanmates. Leafstorm started to pick out the faint scent again. "Willowstar's scent is coming from somewhere over there?" Meowed Leafstorm pointing her paw in the direction of the thunderpath and became confused noticing the trail was leading right into the Twoleg place. Are there shadow cats that are alliances with kittypets?

"Let's not waste anytime!" Emberfang snapped, jogging into the twoleg place.

"Wait up Emberfang!" Yowled Sandstar trying to keep up with Emberfang's speed. Luckily she caught up with the others without collapsing. The scent  trail had led them to  a barbed wire fence in front of  what looks like an abandoned barn crawling with spider webs. "The trail ends here so she must be past this spiky stuff inside that barn or around outside." Redfur meowed studying the area looking for any sign of other cats besides Willowstar who could be nearby and the others did the same, being careful not to lay a paw on the sharp wire.

Emberfang stepped carefully over the wire, staring down at it with interest. "These twolegs must be very paranoid if the have something like this outside of their barn," she noted. "Maybe these shadow cats have been around here before, and spooked the twolegs. It certainly seems as if the barn and the house accompanying it is abandoned." She noticed that the door to the abandoned house was open. "I suggest we split up. One group will go into the house, and the other will go into the barn."

"That is want they want us to do, making it easier to divide and conquer us." Motioned Sandstar but agreed it might be better to scope out the area in groups. However is that really the best way to make sure the groups come back alive with or without Willowstar? "I suggest that Emberfang,Hawkwing and Poppytail go together while Sandstar,Leafstorm and Lunarpaw be the other group." Meowed Redfur. Leafstorm tilted her to the side noticing Redfur had not included himself in a group. It was like him to take charge and do things by himself though this wasn't a good idea of him to count himself out. What in Starclans name could he be up to not wanting the others to be around him? Redfur should know Emberfang or Sandstar, Hawkwing are higher ranked than a med and he was acting like a leader which she admired however he might want to step back and let the leaders/deputies decide which cat goes with what group.

"What about you?" Emberfang asked, lashing her tail. "Which group will you be in?"

"I  think it is best if I stay out of the way and help any cat when they make it back here with any injuries" Redfur answered  "Your not scared are you Redfur?" Questioned Lunarpaw lashing her tail challenging the med cat. "No I am not frightened at all got that little apprentice?" Redfur countered without getting mad at Lunarpaw for calling him out as well. "Little apprentice?" Lunarpaw snarled but let it go knowing never to attack a med even if Redfur was acting like there were flees in his fur. "No backing out now Redfur you can come with me and the others"  Purred Leafstorm and gave Redfur a quick flick with her tail to hopefully snap him out of acting sacred or some reason for not wanting to join a group after all it was his idea to begin with.

Redfur shook his head. "No, really. I thinks it's best if I stare here."

"If he insist than I  will allow Redfur to stay here while we go look around" Declared Sandstar flicking her tail back and forth looking at Hawkwing to see if he agreed with this. "Sounds good just be sure to pay close attention to your surroundings and should something seem strange give us a yowl."  Hawkwing meowed giving Redfur nudge followed by Leafstorm, saying good bye for now. Redfur nodded his head thanking Starclan that he didn't have to follow the others and hopped Emberfang wasn't too upset with his choice.  It is her leader and sister being the one everyone is going to look for after all. He glazed over at her and couldn't tell what she was feeling except for being worry about Willowstars whereabouts.

Emberfang glanced at the ground. Did this cat think her sister wasn't worthy of being saved. Emberfang shook her head. Whatever, they were wasting time. "Right, Hawkwing, Poppytail come with me. We'll go to the house."
